Steve Wetzel, Vice President of Sales, announced today that Interplastic Corporation has a new Low Profile Laminating Resin. This resin provides excellent surface quality to easily achieve Class “A” cosmetics surface.
Interplastic’s COR61-254-461 features high flexibility and a 33% faster turnaround time which may result in up to four mold turns per day compared to two turns with traditional RTM processing. The resin is designed for various markets including marine (above water line), transportation and general fabrication. “We’ve had this product used in the field for some time with great success”, said Steve Wetzel. “We are excited to get it used and delivered more widely to our customer base.”
The new Low Profile Laminating Resin provides great savings around glass cost, demold time and equipment. Other benefits include ambient cure temperatures, use of standard methyl ethyl ketone peroxides (MEKPs) and eliminating the time-consuming cutting and loading of specialty Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) flow mats. COR61-254-461 is now available, companies can reach out to their local sales representative or contact us on our website www.interplastic.com.
