Interplastic Corporation Management Reorganization
Effective May 1, 2018 Interplastic Corporation announced the reorganization of some of its Management staffs. This reorganization will prepare Interplastic for our next phase of growth while striving to better support our customers.
Two new Vice President positions will lead the Interplastic commercial teams: Steve Wetzel, Vice President of Sales; and Peter Surmak, Vice President of Marketing. As Vice President of Sales, Steve will direct the entire Interplastic sales force, regional managers and Marketing Communications Manager. In his new position of Vice President of Marketing, Peter will oversee all aspects of product line and business management including responsibility for CIPP, Gelcoat, Bonding Compounds, Colorants and Vinyl Ester Engineering Resins.
Also effective May 1, 2018 is the promotion of Damon S. Brown to Business Manager – Vinyl Ester/Engineered Resins. With Peter’s move overseeing all product and business management, Damon will be responsible for managing all aspects of the vinyl ester and engineered resins business.
