Price Increase for CoREZYN® and Silmar® Brand Products

(St. Paul, MN – December 14th, 2021) Interplastic Corporation announced today that it will raise the price of both Silmar and CoREZYN brand polyester resins, gel coats, bonding compounds and colorants up to $0.15 per pound. Fire retardant and Novalac based vinyl ester resins will increase up to $0.20 per pound. This increase will take effect for all shipments on or after January 8th, 2022.

Raw materials continue to increase and are in short supply. Propylene Glycol and TiO2 in particular will be challenging throughout 2022. Freight costs and packaging are also going up. Interplastic continues working with suppliers to make sure we are able to maintain a consistent supply of products.
