Gravity Pipelines

COR72 / COR78 Series

Families of isophthalics are offered in filled or non-filled systems and terephthalics come in filled systems specifically developed for Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP) applications. The resins provide excellent corrosion resistance. They have good wet-out characteristics of felt and reinforcements, excellent catalyzed stability, their viscosity is designed to eliminate slugging issues, and they have predictable gel and cure times. They offer cost effective choices for pipeline renovations.

Our vinyl esters also have been specifically developed for CIPP applications. They have premium corrosion-resistant characteristics and physical capabilities. They meet “Green Book” standards for use in Los Angeles, Calif.

Styrene-Free CIPP Resins

We offer a dependable line of styrene-free CIPP resins for projects requiring this alternative. This ground-breaking series has been formulated with no styrene.

With the same polymer backbone approved for today’s pipeline remediation, these resins are proven solutions in gravity pipelines that provide consistent quality, fast wet out, trouble-free processing, superior strength, and high flexural modulus properties. They can be used to repair partially or fully deteriorated pipelines.

These resins meet ASTM F1216 requirements and reduce the likelihood of stress cracking and shrinkage with a lower exotherm.

ONESTEP™

Take the next step with our patented ONEstep offerings. Our ONEstep (US Pat. 10,121,766) offerings are designed to be a simpler, safer way to initiating CIPP resins. These systems offer the benefit of a single, liquid initiator while offering similar performance characteristics the industry has come to expect from Interplastic’s CIPP resins.

Ultraviolet (UV) Cure Systems

Pressure Pipelines

“Handle the pressure” with Interplastic’s CIPP resins specifically designed for use in pressure pipelines. These systems are formulated to work with today’s reinforced liners and are used in many pressure applications, including force mains.
