Marine Vinyl Ester Resins

MVR8071 is a promoted, non-thixotropic, vinyl ester/polyester resin blend. It is designed for the fabrication of large parts using the vacuum infusion process (VIP).

This is a promoted, thixotropic, modified vinyl ester resin. It is designed for marine laminate construction where optimum properties in physicals, hydrolytic stability, and surface characteristic retention are desired. This product has been evaluated for blistering of gel-coated panels exposed to boiling water. These panels typically withstand 150-170 hours of boiling water immersion before any signs of blistering occur.

This product is a promoted, thixotropic, modified vinyl ester resin designed for marine laminate construction. It contains a maximum of 35% styrene (HAP) by weight, meeting the EPA requirements for the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Boat Manufacturing as well as the high strength requirements in the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Reinforced Plastic Composites Production.

MVR8011 is a promoted, thixotropic, modified vinyl ester resin that exhibits excellent physical properties with fast hardness development for the spray-up and hand lay-up applications of the boat spa, and pool manufacturing industries. It contains a maximum of 35% styrene (HAP) by weight which meets the EPA 40 CFR Part 63 requirements of the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP) for boat manufacturing. This product also meets the current VOC requirements of California SCAQMD Rule 1162 for "High Strength Resin".

Marine DCPD Laminating Resins

COR61-AA-340 is a marine grade, low profile, low shrink, unsaturated polyester laminating resin designed for use in the production of boats, canoes, recreational vehicles (RVs), and general fiberglass parts. It meets the EPA 40 CFR Part 63 Volume 66, No. 163 National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for boat manufacturing requirement of maximum 35% HAP content (styrene). This resin is designed to work for long demold times.

This product is a marine grade, low profile, low shrink, high performance DCPD/Isophthalic acid blended unsaturated polyester laminating resin used in the manufacture of glass fiber reinforced composites.

COR61-AA-200 is a high performance, low profile, low shrink DCPD/Isophthalic acid blended unsaturated polyester laminating resin used in the manufacture of glass fiber reinforced composites. It meets the EPA 40 CFR Part 63 Volume 66, No. 163 National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for boat manufacturing requirement of maximum 35% HAP content (styrene).

Marine Ortho Laminating Resins

COR63-AA-300 is a low exotherm, semi-rigid, unsaturated polyester laminating resin designed for use in medium to thick laminates such as boat hulls and decks. It contains less than 35% styrene which meets 40 CFR Part 63: National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Boat Manufacturing: 40 CFR part 63 National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Reinforced Plastics Composites Production and SCAQMD Rule 1162.
