Interplastic Corporation announced today that it will raise the price of CoREZYN brand vinyl ester resins by $0.14 and both Silmar and CoREZYN brand polyester resins, gel coats, bonding compounds and colorants by $0.08 per pound. This increase will take effect for all shipments on or after December 19th, 2020.
Costs of key raw materials, including styrene, epoxy, maleic, glycols and others have sharply increased due to material shortages and increased demand. In addition, freight has increased going into 2021 due to higher demand and driver shortages. Interplastic will continue to work with raw material suppliers in order to manage cost and ensure timely delivery of all materials.
