COR52 resins are low reactivity, low viscosity, unsaturated polyester resins specially designed for excellent adhesion to acrylic sheeting. They are used as a component of the glass-reinforced laminate backups for rigidizing acrylic sheeting in swimming pools spas, tubs, and shower stall units. COR52 resins have a low exotherm and fast wet-out of glass fibers and fillers.

It is used as a component of the glass reinforced laminate backup for rigidizing acrylic sheeting in swimming pools, spas, and tub/shower stall units. This unsaturated polyester resin contributes to LEED points in building applications. This resin contains bio-based renewable carbon material. The USGBC awards LEED points for this category through Materials and Resources MR 4.1-4.2 and MR6, respectively.
